Using Mobile Push Alerts to their Full Potential.

Many of our customers were using printed daily task lists and radios to communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff throughout the day. We implemented push alerts across our entire SaaS and web applications product lines asap. We knew then mobile and desktop web app development was about to change forever and it still is.

Harnessing the Full Potential of the Mobile Browser

• Staff could login to any of the low cost wifi only android phones we provided or sold.
• Our mobile web application allowed them to view, complete, pause, add additional tasks, document lost and found items, add photos, and be notified immediately of any high priority or customer facing tasks via mobile push alerts.
• All push alerts were sent out automatically by the system, included the task description, and a link to the high priority task which were displayed on the phones main notification screen.
• All task lists were also ranked and color coded by priority on both the mobile and desktop web applications.
• The system was also multilingual and could be used in six languages.

Customer Results

• Owners and managers were now able to see exactly how long maintenance tasks were waiting to be completed and the time it took for any housekeeping staff to finish cleaning a room as well as the time between the rooms.
• Staff were able to be notified and view any new tasks that were added to their queue during the day.
• Housekeeping was able to add maintenance items along with photos while cleaning rooms in order to prevent future customer complaints.
